SHEA BILÉ

Shea Bilé is an author, scholar, and musician whose teachings explore the Left Hand Path and broader currents of religious heterodoxy. His twenty-five years of committed adherence within these traditions anchor the depth of study and devotional praxis underlying his work. He has given lectures and workshops internationally and has served as a visiting professor and guest lecturer at various universities. His eighteen-week lecture series, The Fire and the Wine: On the Origins, Philosophy, and Rites of Satanism, Luciferianism, and the Left Hand Path - released in 2025 through Miskatonic Books - represents his most comprehensive instruction to date. His writings have appeared in many publications. His latest major work, Friedrich Nietzsche and the Left Hand Path, was published by Atramentous Press in 2023, with an expanded second edition from Miskatonic/Infernal House in 2025, followed by a Spanish edition through Manus Sinistra. His forthcoming book, Hymns of the Red Dragon, a daemonic hymnal, will be published by Theion Publishing in 2026. He hosts the Deferred Gnosis Podcast, which covers fringe philosophical, spiritual, and esoteric topics. His latest musical work, Tzimtzum, combines spoken-word lyricism with neoclassical instrumentation. Bilé has appeared on many podcasts and has been featured in various articles and documentaries. Notably, Dr. William Chavez’s academic study, “Post-Christianity and Esotericism: A Study of a Satanic Exorcist,” published by Routledge, offers an in-depth examination of Bilé’s religious identity and praxis. Profiles of his work have appeared in VICE, the documentary series 60 Second Docs, and will be featured in the forthcoming AppleTV documentary The Secret Teachings of All Ages. He founded two esoteric student organizations: the Occult Student Alliance at San Francisco State University and The Black Sun Sect at KU Leuven in Leuven, Belgium - both created to provide supportive communities for those drawn to paths outside conventional spirituality.

Bilé holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from San Francisco State University and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven).
